Our Mission

The Antonio Wise Foundation mission is to provide temporary, drug and alcohol-free housing accommodations in a shared community for justice involved individuals who are experiencing housing insecurity.

The Foundation provides recovery residences that are a sober, safe, and healthy living environment, free from alcohol and illicit drug use, centered on peer support and connection to services, referrals, and resources that promote sustained recovery and positive community involvement. The Foundation will provide housing that offers the structure, stability, and positive encouragement necessary for successful re-entry.

Our Program Includes

?

Life Skills Training

Assist the clients with the necessary skills to successfully live in today’s world. These include knowing how to work at a job and be part of a team, manage money, manage time, live as part of the family, and learn effective communication skills. We focus on helping the client with essential life skills including flexibility, initiative, social skills, productivity, and leadership, healthy living and the necessary financial skills to create a budget, develop a savings plan, and build a great credit file.

Peer Counseling and Support

A qualified peer counselor trained to address a broad range of topics by providing one-on-one, confidential support, Because of their own life experience; they are uniquely equipped to provide support, encouragement, and resources to those with mental health challenges, substance abuse issues, victims of domestic violence, and homelessness. help individuals get past obstacles and reach their goals. assist and train client/mentee in the use of technology — computers, mobile devices like smartphones and tablets, social media platforms and networks, software applications, the Internet, etc.

Parenting Education and Support

We will provide resources for parenting education and support that is evidence-based, individualized, and culturally responsive. The resources will provide parents with the necessary tools to improve their parenting skills, increase positive interaction with their children, increase their children’s academic success and achieve successful family reunification.

Educational Programs

Provide resources and referrals to clients interested in a specific course of study or practical training. connect the client/mentees with a trade school, technical institute, or vocational college that is designed to lead directly to career opportunities in a particular field.

Employment Assistance

Provides referrals to educational institutions, social service agencies, employment agencies, and recruiters that will help students, and clients/mentees find work. considering the individual client’s strengths and needs.

Mental Health and Substance Abuse Counseling

We will provide referrals for mental health counseling, and 12-Step programs for substance abuse issues.
